Back working on the neck block, using a router to follow the radius made by the facet cutting set to the curve of the sides at the top section, picking up on the main centre line scribing around the neck block to set angles, setting block up in band saw and slowly trimming away the excess, marking the inside corner curve and drilling out with drill press and a steady hand.
Trimming the waste from previously bent sides and square off using a plane for a perfect butt fit. Gluing the end block and neck block making sure careful alignment is kept for the centre line, the glue is rather slippery when wet, using the moulds to keep all parts aligned.
Did you notice the words “To The Top” on the neck block in part 02 hmmmm its amazing how strong that glue is certainly doesn’t come off in a hurry D’oh!, lucky Phil has a few tricks ups his sleeve, anyway continuing on…
